Conductivity Low Range Standard

Informations sur le produit "Conductivity Low Range Standard"

For most applications, the Conductivity Probe does not need to be calibrated. If you choose to calibrate it, you will need accurate standard solutions. The 150 µ S/cm Standard is a good concentration to calibrate your Conductivity Probe in the low range (0 to 200 µ S/cm).

Microstirrer
When Vernier introduced the new Drop Counter, they decided to include a Vernier Microstirrer to enhance stirring. Since then, they've had many requests to have this as a separate product. The Microstirrer takes the place of the stirring bar that is typically used with a laboratory magnetic stirrer. The new Vernier Microstirrer easily attaches to the end of a pH Sensor, Conductivity Probe, Dissolved Oxygen Probe or Ion-Selective Electrode. When the magnetic stirrer plate (required, but not included) is turned on, its magnetic field turns the paddle wheel of the Microstirrer, resulting in enhanced stirring near the electrode tip. The Microstirrer works with any magnetic stirrer.

Conductivity Probe
The Conductivity Probe determines the ionic content of an aqueous solution by measuring its conductivity. The Conductivity Probe has three ranges, providing optimal precision in any given range. Biology teachers can use this probe to demonstrate diffusion of ions through membranes. Chemistry students are able to quickly investigate the difference between ionic and molecular compounds, strong and weak acids, or ionic compounds that yield different ratios of ions. Environmental science students use it to measure TDS, total dissolved solids. Range: Low Range: 0 to 200 μS/cm (0 to 100 mg/L TDS) Mid Range: 0 to 2000 μS/cm (0 to 1000 mg/L TDS) High Range: 0 to 20,000 μS/cm (0 to 10,000 mg/L TDS) Typical Resolution: Low Range: 0.1 μS/cm (0.05 mg/L TDS) Mid Range: 1 μS/cm (0.5 mg/L TDS) High Range 10 μS/cm (5 mg/L TDS) Accuracy using factory calibration: ±8% of full-scale reading for low range ±3% of full-scale reading for mid range ±4% of full-scale reading for high range Accuracy using custom calibration: ±2% of full-scale reading for each range Response Time: 98% of full-scale reading in 5 seconds, 100% of full-scale in 15 seconds Temperature Compensation: automatic from 5 to 35 °C Temperature Range (can be placed in): 0 to 80 °C Cell Constant: 1.0 cm-1   Description: ABS body, parallel carbon (graphite) electrodes Dimensions: 12 mm OD and 150 mm length CON-BTA User manual

Go Direct™ Conductivity Probe
The Go Direct Conductivity Probe determines the ionic content of an aqueous solution by measuring its electrical conductivity. It directly connects wirelessly via Bluetooth® or wired via USB to your platform. Go Direct Conductivity Probe determines the ionic content of an aqueous solution by measuring its electrical conductivity. It features a built-in temperature sensor to simultaneously read conductivity and temperature. Automatic temperature compensation allows students to calibrate the probe in the lab and then make measurements outdoors without temperature changes affecting data. This temperature compensation can be turned off to perform conductivity studies as a function of temperature. The Go Direct Conductivity Probe has a range of 0 to 20,000 μS/cm to provide optimal precision in any given range. An alternating current at its electrodes prevents polarization and electrolysis, reducing contamination of solutions. Its ABS-body graphite electrode resists the corrosion typical in metal electrodes. The Go Direct Conductivity Probe can be used in a variety of experiments: Demonstrate diffusion of ions through membranes. Investigate the difference between ionic and molecular compounds, strong and weak acids, or ionic compounds that yield different ratios of ions. Measure Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Specifications: Range: 0 to 20,000 μS/cm (0 to 10,000 mg/L TDS) Temperature compensation: Automatic from 5 to 35°C, can be turned off Temperature range (can be placed in): 0 to 80°C Cell constant: 1.0 cm-1 Description: ABS body, parallel carbon (graphite) electrodes Dimensions: 12 mm OD and 120 mm length Connections: Wireless: Bluetooth Wired: USB Included Go Direct Conductivity Probe Micro USB Cable
