EKG Sensor

Informations sur le produit "EKG Sensor"

The EKG Sensor measures electrical signals produced during muscle contractions, and can be used to make standard 3-lead EKG tracings or surface EMG recordings.

The EKG Sensor measures cardiac electrical potential waveforms (voltages produced during the contraction of the heart). It can be used to make standard 3-lead EKG tracings to record electrical activity in the heart, or to collect surface EMG recordings to study contractions in muscles in your arm, leg or jaw.

  • Offset: ~1.00 V (±0.3 V)
  • Gain: 1 mV body potential / 1 V sensor output
  • A package of 100 disposable electrodes is included

Human Physiology with Vernier
The 24 experiments in Human Physiology with Vernier are designed to encourage students to think about the physiology of various human organ systems by measuring the activity of the upper respiratory tract, the lungs, the heart, the nervous system, and the musculoskeletal system. Homeostasis is an underlying theme, and several experiments illustrate the response of the human body to stress or external influences.

Goniometer
The Goniometer measures the angle of a joint, such as the knee or elbow. Use it to analyze the range of motion of a limb during different types of physical activity. A set of elastic straps are used to secure the sensor to the subject. The lightweight and flexible joint arms allow the limb to move naturally. Use it with an EKG Sensor to measure muscle activity during limb motion. The sensor can also be detached from the base plate and flexible arms so it can be used in a variety of STEM and engineering activities. Go Direct® EKG Sensor
The Go Direct EKG Sensor measures electrical activity in the heart and electrical signals produced during muscle contractions. The wireless options minimize the concern of cables getting caught and tangled during experiments. This sensor provides two separate outputs: one optimized for standard 3-lead EKG tracings and one optimized for surface EMG recordings. EMG recordings can also be rectified automatically by the sensor. The Go Direct EKG Sensor can be used in a variety of experiments:  Compare and measure students’ electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) waveforms. Determine heart rate by examining the number of QRS waveforms in a series of electrocardiograms (EKG/ECGs). Study contractions of muscles (EMG) in the arm, leg, or jaw. Correlate measurements of grip strength and electrical activity with muscle fatigue. Rechargeable Battery—Ready When You Are The Go Direct robust rechargeable battery offers long battery life and provides always-ready operation. Monitor battery life directly from our free Graphical Analysis™ 4 app. Should the battery run low, simply connect the sensor to the charging cable and keep on collecting—no interruptions or inconvenience to you or your students.  Wired or Wireless—The Flexibility to Choose Our Go Direct sensors connect directly to your mobile device, Chromebook™, or computer using our free Graphical Analysis™ 4 app—no additional equipment or software purchases are necessary. Go Direct sensors can be used wired via USB or wirelessly via Bluetooth wireless technology, allowing you to choose the solution best for your classroom or laboratory.

Qubit GSR Sensor
