Projectile Stop

Informations sur le produit "Projectile Stop"

The Projectile Stop has one job–to keep the projectiles from the Vernier Projectile Launcher from rolling out of sight. Place the Projectile Stop in the launch line, beyond the landing site, and the projectile will be caught.
The Projectile Stop is heavy foam-coated steel that stays where you put it.

Vernier Projectile Launcher
Use the Vernier Projectile Launcher to investigate important concepts in two-dimensional kinematics. Launch steel balls at angles between 0 and 70 degrees and over distances up to 2.5 m. The solid, heavy base provides an easy-to-use and reliable setup. A unique pneumatic launching system provides excellent repeatability and allows you to set the launch speed. Built-in photogates and angle markings provide easy and accurate measurement of the ball’s launch velocity, allowing for precise quantitative analysis of projectile motion. Simply plug the device into a compatible data-collection interface.

Time of Flight Pad
The Time of Flight Pad is used with the Vernier Projectile Launcher and a Vernier interface to determine the launch speed of a projectile, along with the time the projectile is in flight. Time-of-flight measurements allow students to see just how kinematic calculations work in real-world applications. The Time of Flight Pad is electrically like a photogate. When a ball strikes the foam top surface, a circuit is closed.

The O2 Gas Sensor can be used to monitor gaseous oxygen levels in a variety of biology and chemistry experiments. The sensor is intended for measuring gaseous, not aqueous, O2 concentration. The O2 Gas Sensor measures oxygen concentration in air, and is temperature compensated for use in different environments. It has a wide measurement range, allowing it to be used to study human and cellular respiration. The O2 Gas Sensor also includes a 250 mL bottle that can be used to study the rusting of iron or as a respiration chamber for monitoring plants and insects.
