Differential Voltage Probe

Info sui prodotti "Differential Voltage Probe"

The Differential Voltage Probe is designed for exploring the basic principles of electricity. Use this probe to measure voltages in low voltage AC and DC circuits.

With a range of ±6.0 V, this system is ideal for use in “battery and bulb” circuits. Use it with the Current Probe (DCP-BTA) to explore Ohm’s law, phase relationships in reactive components, and much more. Use multiple Differential Voltage Probes to explore series and parallel circuits.

The Differential Voltage Probe reports the potential difference between the red and black leads. For example, if the black terminal is attached to something that is 2 V above ground, and the red to something that is 3 V below ground, it will report -5 V. The Differential Voltage Probe is the preferred voltage sensor in cases where more than one voltage sensor will be used in the same circuit.

  • Input voltage range: ±6.0 V
  • Maximum voltage on any input: ±10 V
  • Input Impedance (to ground): 10 M Ω
  • Differential Impedance: >20 M Ω
  • Typical Resolution: 3.1 mV

Voltage Probe
This Voltage Probe can be used with the Vernier LabPro, LabQuest, LabQuest Mini, Go!Link, Easylink, SensorDAQ and CBL 2 to measure direct voltage. The Voltage Probe is a bipolar sensor. The black lead is grounded along with the interface, and the sensor reports the potential difference between the red lead and ground. It can be used to measure the potential in DC or AC circuits. You might also consider the Differential Voltage Probe (DVP-BTA). Multiple Differential Voltage Probes can be connected to a circuit without the use of a common grounding terminal. Go Direct™ Voltage Probe
The Go Direct Voltage Probe combines a wide input voltage range and high precision, making it an excellent choice for lab investigations of both AC/DC circuits and electromagnetism. Use this differential probe to measure the voltage in simple circuits, to study basic principles of electrochemical cells, or to investigate the resistivity of different metals. With a range of ±15 V, this system is ideal for use in “battery and bulb” circuits. Go Direct Voltage is capable of kHz sampling and mV resolution, so you can also use it to capture more difficult electric potentials, such as the electromagnetic field induced in a coil by a moving magnet. This single sensor can take the place of several voltmeters in your classroom. The Go Direct Voltage Probe can be used in a variety of experiments: Measure potential difference at various places in series and parallel circuits. Investigate Ohm’s law in simple circuits. Measure the voltage across a capacitor in RC and RLC circuits. Explore Faraday’s law and induced EMFs in a coil of wire. Specification: Input voltage range: ±15.0 V Maximum voltage on any input: ±15 V Typical resolution: 0.5 mV Power: Internal rechargeable battery or USB connection Connections: Wireless: Bluetooth Wired: USB Included: Go Direct Voltage Probe Micro USB Cable

High Current Sensor
Use the High Current Sensor in experiments that involve currents larger than 1 A, such as solar panels, hand generators, and other alternative energy projects. The High Current Sensor has a range of ±10 A. Current is measured with a Hall Effect sensor, which uses the magnetic field created by the current and therefore does not add a resistive element to the circuit. A metal shield over the Hall Effect chip reduces the influence of external magnets. A replaceable fuse protects the equipment and circuit. High Current Sensor range:±10 A Maximum voltage input:±40 V Typical Resolution:4.9 mA User manual
