Go Direct® Rotary Motion Sensor

Informations sur le produit "Go Direct® Rotary Motion Sensor"

Description

Monitor angular motion easily and precisely with the Go Direct Rotary Motion Sensor, which connects wirelessly via Bluetooth® or wired via USB to your device. The wireless connection eliminates the cables that can get caught and tangled during rotational investigations.

  • Determine position, velocity, and acceleration of objects in angular motion.
  • Measure angle increments as small as 0.25°.
  • Investigate rotational dynamics, conservation of angular momentum, pendulum motion, polarization of light, and more.
  • Rechargeable Battery—Ready When You Are

The robust rechargeable battery offers long battery life and provides always-ready operation when using the sensor wirelessly. Monitor battery life directly from our free Graphical Analysis™ 4 app or LabQuest 2 App. Should the battery run low, simply connect the sensor to the charging cable and keep on collecting—no interruptions or inconvenience to you or your students.

Wired or Wireless—The Flexibility to Choose

Our Go Direct sensors connect directly to your mobile device, Chromebook™, or computer using our free Graphical Analysis™ 4 app—no additional equipment or software purchases are necessary. Go Direct sensors can be used wired via USB or wirelessly via Bluetooth® wireless technology, allowing you to choose the solution best for your classroom or laboratory.

Motion Detector
The Motion Detector is used to measure position, velocity, and acceleration of moving objects. It uses ultrasound to measure the position of carts, balls, people, and other objects. Measure objects as close as 15 cm and as far away as 6 m. Sensitivity switch reduces noise and produces higher quality data for studying dynamics carts on tracks. Attaches easily to the Vernier Dynamics System. Pivoting head allows for flexibility in the experiment setup. User manual

Rotary Motion Sensor
The Vernier Rotary Motion Sensor is a bidirectional angle sensor designed to measure rotational or linear position, velocity and acceleration. The Rotary Motion Sensor lets you monitor angular motion precisely and easily. It is direction sensitive. You can use it to collect angular displacement, angular velocity, and angular acceleration data. Typical experiments include measuring moments of inertia, torque, pendula, and Atwood’s machine experiments. Even though we call it a Rotary Motion Sensor, it can also be used to measure linear position to a fraction of a millimeter.
